Glenn Kershaw joins board of directors

Rochdale Hornets are delighted to announce the appointment of Glenn Kershaw to the club’s board of directors.

Glenn joins chairman Andy Mazey, Carl Halstead and Jason Wilson on the board and, alongside his brother Iain, has also become part of the club's ownership group.

A lifelong Hornets supporter, Glenn is marketing manager for Develop UK and brings extensive commercial, marketing and business leadership expertise. He also has significant experience in sports administration, development and funding.

Rochdale Hornets chairman Andy Mazey said: "We are delighted to welcome Glenn to the club. Glenn is a lifelong supporter and more recently a sponsor of the club, and we are sure his commitment, passion and expertise will strengthen the board considerably.

"His commercial background, marketing knowledge and experience within sports administration will be valuable assets as we continue to grow the club on and off the field.

"Glenn and his brother Iain have also joined the club's ownership group, and their investment is another positive step and a further demonstration of the progress the club is making.

"Rugby league is always a challenging environment, and it is a real boost for us that Glenn and Iain are joining the shareholding group as we continue to build a sustainable and successful future for Rochdale Hornets."

"As a family, we have been watching and supporting the Hornets for many years, and the club has given us some incredible memories.

"Knowing how well the club is now being run, with such passion, ambition and dedication, made my decision to get involved a very easy one. I am looking forward to contributing, both professionally and personally, as we continue to move the club forward.
