Ticketing FAQ's

There are a number of changes to the way spectators can buy tickets in 2021. 

Partnering with Future Ticketing we have implimented a ticketing system that will allow spectators to buy tickets online via our website. The change is in part due to the covid 19 guidance, reducing physical contact and the need to handle cash, but it also enables Hornets to progress its ticketing and sales strategies supporting us to grow our crowds. 

What to expect

In a change to how we operate there will be no cash turnstiles and spectators are now able to select a seat for the season or a game. In doing so, limited seating has been made available in-line with covid regulations, but we hope that more seats and areas will become available as social distancing requirements ease. Purchasing your ticket couldn't be easier, simply select the event you wish to purchase and follow the on-screen instructions to complete you season pass or ticket purchase. Alternatively, you can call the office or visit our ticket office (during opening hours) to purchase at the stadium club. 

Using your new season pass is also very simple. When arriving at the ground you can gain entry by simply scanning your pass at the turnstile scanner, or if you're in hospitality via our friendly front of house staff in reception. All your seating and turnstile information is printed directly on your card and ticket. 

NB. Please remember that the opening game Vs West Wales on the 9th of May will be played behind closed doors and spectators are reminded not to attend the stadium. Digital passes will be issued to season pass holders to be redeem via the OURLeague platform. Please read our streaming FAQs.

We have compiled a list of FAQs ahead of the 2021 season. 

Q. How do I purchase a season pass or match day ticket?

A. You have a number of options. The first is to visit the online tickets page located on the top of the website and in the main menu. Simply click the link, choose your event and follow the online instructions. You will also be able to call the ticketing office or purchase at the stadium. However, if purchasing on game day you may expereince maybe significant delays if demand is high. 

Q. How will I receive my ticket?

A. Season passes are posted or available for collection. Match tickets are available as an eTicket which you can print or download to your phone which you scan on arrival at the stadium. You can also call or visit the ticketing office during office hours to purchase and collect. We do not advise purchasing a ticket at the office on game day because you could experience significant delays. 

To use your ticket simply scan it at the turnstile scanners.

Q. Can I choose where I sit?

A. Yes, in 2021 we will operate the stadium to be covid compliant. Therefore seats are only available to purchase in-line with our covid seating plan to ensure spectator safety. Our system will therefore only allow you to select a section of seats corresponding with the number you require. For example, if you are purchasing three seats you should select a bubble of three seats from the plan, but you may also select a two and a one from the seating plan. Please remember you should follow government advice and only purchase multiple seats if you are in a bubble. 

Q. Can I sit in my usual seat?

A. No, you can only select available seats from the plan due to socially distanced guidance. You should also follow government guidelines and only purchase tickets together if you're in a bubble.

Q. Why can't I access Block A & B for general seating?

A. Block A & B are not available for general sale as it is anticipated these seats will be required for hospitality guests when permitted. We appreciate that this is disappointing, but due to the limited numbers of tickets available in Block A & B we have had to hold these back until the government allows a greater return of fans. 

Q. Once restrictions are lifted can I request a change of seat?

A. We are unable to guarantee that season ticket seats will be relocated once distancing measures change. However, we will review this throughout the season and communicate all changes in advance.

Q. Can I pay cash on match day?

A. Not at the turnstile but you can visit the ticket office. Avoid queuing by purchasing a ticket online or via your smartphone and receive an eTicket direct to your email or digital wallet. If you must purchase a ticket at the stadium, please visit us during the week to avoid delays.  

Q. Which turnstile should I use? 

A. The turnstile listed on your season pass or ticket is the one you should use. If you try and access another turnstile you pass and ticket will be rejected. This is to ensure you have the correct entry location and can get to your seat with ease. 

Q. Why can't I cross the tunnel area in the main stand. 

A. In 2021 the main stand will be split into east and west. This is to prevent fans crossing the tunnel area which is classified a RED zone for the purposes of managing our covid stadium plan. It means that turnstile 4-6 will be in operation for access to the west side blocks A+B. Turnstile 1-3 will operate for Blocks  E,F & G.

Q. Are food kiosks and bars open when I visit?

A. We need to follow government guidelines. Currently (March 2021) we are not permitted to open kiosks and bars around the stadium. We are however hopeful that by June of 2021 (2nd home game) this will change, and whilst we don't expect all restrictions to be lifted we hope to be able to offer some refreshments. 

Q. Is the main lounge open to spectators before and after kick off? 

A. No, the main lounge is restricted to hospitality ticket holders and sponsors only. Once hospitality is permitted the lounge is likely to be limited to 50 people. If you wish to have access to the lounge you must purchase one of the limited number of tickets available. Seating will be allocated in the main stand. See Terms and Conditions regarding hospitality tickets. 

Q. Why are you selling Hospitality tickets when restrictions are in place?

A. We have chosen to sell a limited number of tickets as our second home game isn't until the 27th of June 2021. We are hopeful that by this date we will be allowed some hospitality, but we think it will be limited numbers. We are therefore only pricing hospitality season passes for eight games and not the nine, but you will still receive a digital pass for OURLeague if purchasing a hospitality pass. 

With numbers limited to 50 in our lounge it is unlikely that fans will be allowed to visit the lounge without a hospitality ticket in 2021. Our lounge will also include match sponsors and club guests and we hope that spectators understand why we need to restrict access in 2021. If we are not able to serve hospitality by June 27th your ticket will revert to a standard ticket and you will be entitled to a pro rata refund for the hospitality not received. 

Q. Can I purchase a box?

A. All 2020 box holders have all been contacted and two boxes have been allocated to each existing holder to support social distancing rules. Therefore we have no boxes for general sale in 2021 unless social distance rules are changed. General sale boxes will be made available via the website if this changes. 

Q. Is parking available and can I purchase a season pass for parking? 

A. Parking is not available as a season pass for 2021. We are hopeful that by June 2021 limited parking will be made available on a first come first serve basis. If you require disabled parking pass please contact the office on 01706 648004.

Q. Can you buy parking, food, drinks, programmes and half time draws all on one 1 ticket?

A. This is a development we are hoping to have in the future as we aim to make customer experience seamless.
