Women's fixtures confirmed for 2026

Rochdale Hornets Women's fixtures for the 2026 season have been confirmed.
Following the club's promotion back in October, the Hornets Women will compete in the Women's Northern League 1.
It will be an eight-team division, with 14 rounds of regular season league action in total.
Ben Bird's side will begin their 2026 in cup competition, with details of their Women's Challenge Shield opponents to be announced in due course.
Cup action will be played on March 22 and 29, plus April 12, before the league season begins one week later.
The Hornets Women will start their campaign at home to Illingworth on Sunday 19 April before back-to-back away games against Workington Town and Leigh Miners Rangers.
Further cup weekends are scheduled for June and July, with finals for the Women’s Challenge Shield and Plate expected to be played on Sunday 19 July.
The league season concludes at home to Leigh on September 13.
Women's Northern League 1 & 2 Grand Finals are set to take place on Sunday 11 October.
