Hornets to face Halifax Panthers in pre-season friendly

Rochdale Hornets will travel to Halifax Panthers for a pre-season friendly on Sunday 4 January.

The fixture at the Shay is a 3pm kick-off and will serve as James Saltonstall's testimonial fixture. 

It is also the Hornets' first confirmed run-out ahead of the new Betfred Championship campaign.

Tickets are expected to go on sale later this week. Supporters will be notified via the club's social media channels when they are available to buy. 

Further friendlies will be announced in due course, with the new season set to begin over the weekend of January 17/18.
