Rochdale Hornets is delighted to name Premier Kia as their new Principal Club Sponsor, on a two-year deal.

Rochdale Hornets is delighted to name Premier Kia as their new Principal Club Sponsor, on a two-year deal.

Kia have been a partner of the club for more than six years and, in this time, have been excellent supporters of the work Hornets do both on and off the field.

As part of the agreement reached, the local car dealership will invest in both the club and the Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation while continuing to provide excellent offers to fans.

Hornets’ Chief Executive Officer, Steve Kerr, said: ‘I’m thrilled and delighted to announce Premier Kia as our main sponsor on an initial two-year deal that will see Premier Kia feature on the men’s, ladies’, and wheelchair kit.

“I’ve worked with Ben Bird (Managing Director) and Stuart Collinson (Business Development Manager) at Premier Kia since 2017 and it’s a fantastic partnership that really helps drive the club forward.

Kerr added: “To have the backing of such a well-established business in Rochdale, and a household name in the automotive industry, is fantastic for the club.”

Collinson is also enthused by the announcement: “Hornets’ community approach is very much aligned to our business growth and company values, so it feels like a natural partnership to take forward.

“We’re excited about the upcoming season and would like to wish all the teams the very best of luck.”

As well as their excellent work in the community, Premier Kia also boast a new line of electric and hybrid vehicles as the industry moves towards becoming carbon neutral.

Kerr said: “We all want to make sure we do our bit to help the environment.

“So, it’s great to go on a journey with Premier Kia who have some fantastic electric cars like the EV6.

He concluded: “As a club we are thinking about how we can reduce our carbon footprint, and this partnership will certainly help.”
