Hornets drawn at home in 1895 Cup

Rochdale Hornets will host either Swinton Lions or Sheffield Eagles in the first round of this season's 1895 Cup.

The draw for the opening two rounds of the competition was made on Sunday evening, live on BBC Radio Leeds.

The Hornets' opponents will be confirmed once preliminary round ties are played over the weekend of March 14-15. 

The first round will then be held over the weekend of April 18-19.
