Date & time

The funeral service for Peter Rush will take place on Friday, 8th March 2024. The service will commence at 10:00am.

Location

The service will be held at St Luke's Church, Heywood, OL10 4NN. This sacred space will provide a tranquil and respectful environment for friends, family, and community members to gather and bid farewell to Peter.

Open to the general public

The funeral is open to the general public, reflecting Peter's impact and the widespread love and respect he garnered throughout his life. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to a person who touched the hearts of many.

Burial

Following the funeral service, the burial will take place at Heywood Cemetery.

Post-funeral wake

Following the burial, a wake will be held in the Ratcliffe Bar at the Crown Oil Arena, starting from 12:30pm. 

This is an opportunity for friends, family, and community members to share memories, offer condolences, and find comfort in one another's company.
