Recruitment Solutions North West to sponsor Hornets wheelchair team

Rochdale Hornets are proud to confirm Recruitment Solutions North West will sponsor our wheelchair team in 2023.

We are delighted to announce investment from Recruitment Solutions North West has already enabled the Foundation to purchase eight brand new wheelchairs, which are vital to supporting the team’s growth and ambitions.

Recruitment Solutions North West, who are an independent owned business based in Rochdale, are committed to supporting the local area in assisting candidates and businesses find the right ‘fit’ for a job.   

Gavin Reynolds, director at Recruitment Solutions North West, has said the company is delighted to partner with the Hornets wheelchair team for 2023.

He said: “The recent Rugby League World Cup really opened the eyes of many people - including us - to what wheelchair rugby league can offer to the lives of participants and supporters within the local community in terms of getting people active, socialising, excitement, participation and wellbeing. 

“The new wheelchairs will enable the team, who are growing in number of participants, to push on and remain as competitive as possible in the league. 

“A special mention goes to Carl Abraham, who has worked tirelessly to get this project off the ground.”

Hornets CEO Steve Kerr, has echoed the positivity around the sponsorship, and the growth the wheelchair team is continuing to make.  

He said:  “I’m really pleased Gavin and the team at Recruitment Solutions North West have continued their support of Rochdale Hornets, and that for the first time they will be sponsoring our wheelchair team.

“Our mission is to create one of the most inclusive and diverse club’s in rugby league, and our wheelchair programme can only thrive with the support of its community.

“I’m particularly pleased investment has allowed us to purchase eight new wheelchairs to support the growth of the team, following a successful Rugby League World Cup.

“Unlike other forms of the game, it’s quite a challenge to resource the programme as it requires specialist equipment.”
