Rochdale Hornets re-sign Ryan Forshaw

Rochdale is delighted to announce the re-signing of Ryan Forshaw for the 2022 Betfred League 1 season.

The former Wigan youngster adds more options at halfback for the Hornets.

Hornets' chairman Andy Mazey was delighted that Forshaw choose to re-sign with the Hornets over Championship clubs who were interested.

“I think it speaks volumes about what we are doing here and the environment Matt and the staff are creating.

“Welcome back Ryan!” Mazey said.

Forshaw himself is looking forward to playing following a frustrating season with injury. His performance against Keighley last season was a standout.

“I am really looking forward to being back playing after getting the all-clear from the doctors.

“I’ve played with a few of the new signings before and I am really excited to play with them again and get on the pitch and show the fans what I can do,” Forshaw said.
