A new book detailing the triumphs and tribulations of Rochdale Hornets’ 150-year history is now available to buy.

A new book detailing the triumphs and tribulations of Rochdale Hornets’ 150-year history is now available to buy.

Co-written by Jim Stringer and Mark Wynn, Triumph and Disaster provides a detailed insight into the defining moments of the last century and a half.

From the famous Challenge Cup victory of the 1920s to recent pandemic-hit seasons, the London League Publication is a story of “a survival, struggle, conflict and relentless optimism.”

Despite the challenges that come with playing semi-professional rugby league, the book is a nod to the club’s admiral ability to battle on in the face of adversity.

As we prepare to enter the club’s 126th year of existence there is no doubt that this current crop of players, and staff, will continue that theme and make the badge proud.

In addition, the book will be available via Amazon, Ebay, and as a Kindle from the week commencing 6th December at the cost of £16.95.
