Hornets Summer Camps Back And Bigger Than Ever!

The Hornets Foundation are proud to announce the return of our ever-popular holiday camps.

After the success of our camps over the Easter holidays and half-term holidays, we will be returning to Rochdale Mayfield ARLFC with an expanded programme during the summer holidays.

We have doubled the number of days that we will be offering, with both the primary school and secondary school age groups now benefiting from two days of expert coaching from our Hornets Foundation staff.

Both camps will take place at the Mayfield Sports Centre, Steve Gartland Way, Castleton, Rochdale. The first camp will be for Primary School children, aged between 8-11, with the second covering secondary school kids, aged between 12 and 16.

The primary school cohort will go first, on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July, before the older kids will have their turn on Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th July. Both days will run from 10am (registration 9:45 am) until 3pm and participants are asked to bring their own kit, lunch, snacks and drinks. The sessions are very reasonably priced at just £5 per child per day.

The holiday camps are designed to introduce and expand on the fundamentals of rugby league, with our trained coaches putting on sessions that are built around the core skills of the game, teaching the kids how to play while always keeping fun at the heart of the camp.
