After the success of the Under 17s team last season, Hornets have decided to run an Under 18s team for the 2010-2011 season, which will compete in the North West Counties Youth League every Sunday.

The aim of the team is to improve the skill levels of all local talent from Rochdale, Oldham and the surrounding area, and bridge the gap from youth rugby to open age rugby. The team has the consent of all the local amateur clubs and the backing of Hornets RLFC.

The management team would like to invite any boys who were under the age of 18 on 1st January 2010 to a series of trial training sessions, beginning on Saturday 3rd July, from which a squad of players will be selected.
