ELECTED DIRECTOR CHAIRMAN

Chairman- Mark Wynn sm

Mark Wynn

I am a lifelong Rochdale Hornets and Rugby League fan.

I have been honoured to serve on the board since the inception of the Hornets' Supporter Owned Club. I have had the even greater privilege of being the Chairman for the majority of that time.

My role covers several aspects, but some of my core duty is being the link between the board and the office, being a point of contact for supporters, sponsors, and partners as well as various bodies and groups. As well as keeping an overview of the financial performance of the club. I also have an active input in the Social Media part of what Hornets do.

I suppose the areas I am most proud of are the stability the club has experienced whilst I have been Chair, and the successful bid for the Fiji v Ireland game in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, which I took the lead on, plus not forgetting winning two trophies including becoming the 2016 League 1 Champions.

Alongside my work at Hornets I am active within the local amateur game through the Hornets' Supporters' Team, the Rochdale Swarm.

ELECTED DIRECTOR - Supporter Liaison Lead

Director Wendy Hamer

Wendy Hamer - Team Leader

In my professional life, I have for the last 13yrs worked for Healey Care, and I am team leader at the day service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour which although demanding is such a rewarding job. I am Shawforth born and bred have 2 children Sarah and James and, my partner Jon. We live in Shawforth. I love to read, and have many other interests.

Since coming to Hornets, I have been involved with some of the many fund raisers, and the children's Christmas party, also running the supporters bus, and have made a great many friends.

I want to see Rochdale Hornets promoted, and want us to be winners both on, and off the pitch, also to encourage more people to the games especially youngsters. I will work hard with the other directors to achieve this.
