The club's foundation need your votes to help secure funding to expand their Origin series.
There is still time to vote for Rochdale Hornets’ Sporting Foundation in the Aviva Community Fund, as they look to grow their Origin series.
So far the foundation have secured over 100 votes, but if they are to be successful in their goal of delivering over 500 hours of rugby to a target audience of over 600 children they need your help.
The Origin series will see rugby league sessions delivered to children in Rochdale, Pennine, Middleton and Heywood areas.
Partnerships with local community clubs Rochdale Cobras, Rochdale Mayfield and Littleborough will also be established with the aim of forming new teams in Middleton and Heywood by 2019.
The £24,000 applied for by the charity equates to just £35 per child, and will go a long way to growing the game and improving the lives of children and young people in Rochdale through sport.
Voting closes on the 21st of November, so for full details on the foundation’s proposal and on how to register your 10 votes click here.
