ROCHDALE Hornets are delighted to announce a significant partnership with sportswear giant O’Neills Irish International Sportswear

The club has agreed a two year deal with the Irish based sports apparel manufacturer which will see them bring a range of playing, training and leisurewear to the club both in the shop and online.

The deal see’s Hornets working with former assistant coach Paul Berry who works for O’Neills in a sales capacity.

Hornets’ director Luke Harrison said: “We are delighted to link up with O’Neills for the next two years, they are an excellent company who are very customer focussed and support dozens of rugby league clubs in both the professional and community game.

“Merchandising at the club has always been difficult but working with O’Neills will allow us to be much more flexible in how we go about this. We will be able to utilise their web shop which is second to none along with taking some stock in the club shop.

“We have worked closely with Paul to put together kits for next year and while the home one is more or less complete, we will be looking to the supporters to help us decide on the alternate strip. Details of that will be announced in the next couple of weeks.”

O’Neills was founded in 1918 as a manufacturer of Gaelic footballs and it is now the largest sportswear manufacturing company in Ireland. They employ over 700 people in Ireland along with staff in the UK, France, USA and Australia and have extensive manufacturing plants in Strabane, Co. Tyrone and in Walkinstown Avenue, Dublin.

O’Neills Sales Manager Paul Berry said: “O’Neills are delighted to be working alongside Rochdale Hornets for the next 2 years in what is an exciting time for the club going into their second season in the Kingstone Press Championship. We have a full range of merchandise planned which will be launched very soon and will include some new lines along the course of the season to fall in line with the spring and summer months.

"In addition to the products stocked in the clubs shop at the Crown Oil Arena, O’Neills will also have a number of other items which will be made available via the clubs online store at together with a number of offers and discounts throughout the year for members and supporters”.
